Step 1 of 3
- 1. Start the clock
- 2. Your facts
- 3. Get your packet
Fight a bogus broker report
Got a broker-filed performance report (for example, on Carrier411's FreightGuard system)? You usually get one response, within 72 hours of when the report was submitted, and it can't be edited. Start the clock, then build a factual response.
Your 72-hour countdown (free)
The window runs from when the report was submitted. If you only know when the email arrived, use that, but your real deadline may be earlier.
Enter the report time to start the countdown.
Checklist: do this now
- Respond factually, once. Dates, times, documents. No threats, insults, or guesses about motives.
- Contact the broker's owner or management (not just the dispatcher) and ask them to review, correct, or delete the report. Only the reporting company can change or delete it.
- Gather evidence: rate con, BOL, signed POD, ELD/GPS logs, check-in/out times, photos, emails and texts.
- Don't threaten legal action or post about it publicly while you're trying to get it fixed.
- Keep your FMCSA email current (MCS-150 update). Report notices go to the email on your FMCSA record.
Step 2 of 3
Build your Report Defense packet
We turn your facts into a ready-to-paste response (under 1,500 characters), a deletion-request letter to the broker's management, a one-page evidence timeline, a weak-spot check of your messages, and next steps. $29 one time, or included with UnpaidLoad Pro (sign in if you have Pro).
